COFFEE REGION "Eje Cafetero"
With a colorful architecture and sui generis, this region offers very inviting visitors and local peculiarities. A curious case is the massive use of traditional American Willis Jeep vehicles at the time of the Second World War. These Willis can be seen everywhere as elements of transporting people and cargo. This particular tradition has even invent words typical of the Axis as the "jeepao" (it would read Yipao), which refers to the amount of things that these Willis can carry, the same way as the contents of a bag in Colombia is called "a costalao" (sack full of stuff).
